Verb conjugation – per person

German verbs are conjugated in present tense differently for each person. Most of them are regular and stick to a pattern, others do not.

In this exercise, you will conjugate verbs for all six persons. Type each conjugated form in its appropriate blank space. When you are done, click 'Check my answers' to see the answer key.

Note that some verbs have separable prefixes (being known as trennbare Verben), and when used in present tense, the prefix goes to the end of the sentence. When that is the case, add a white space after the conjugated verb and then the prefix - as done below. You need to know which are the verbs with separable prefixes.
